Abstract

Scientists are requiring more chemical information for their research. This presentation will explore how chemical informatics, the use of information science and technology to solve chemical problems, is an increasingly important service area for libraries.

Opportunities for the library professional in chemical informatics will be discussed. Valuable skill sets and models of service will be covered as well.
